SWAN FITNESS’s dance lessons have changed recently.
Natchan (Natsuko)‘sย Freestyle Dance Lessonย (Saturday 10:00-10:45 am @ Southport Community Centre) used to be for mature teens & adults, but now we are accepting kids who want to join the lesson if they can follow along. The youngest ones are 9 year old girls at the moment.
Another freestyle dance lesson which is on Thursdays at 7:15-8:00 pm started as a regular lesson from this month.
The choreography is jazz hip hop style different from Saturday’s Freestyle Dance.
The last lesson in Term 3 is on Saturday the 16th of September, 1:00-1:45 pm.
If you buy 5 pass tickets for Term 4 during Term 3, you can get a discount!!

We have another kids dance lesson in Ormeau. โ

SWAN FITNESS is a mixture of adult and child dance performers. Adult performers are joining a lesson held on Saturday morning at Southport Community Centre. The lesson is based on Hip Hop including Lock dance and Jazz dance etc.

Child performers are from 2 education groups which are concentrating their efforts on Japanese education, Sakura Gakuen Japanese School and Mebae Little Seedlings Family Day Care. The 2 groups of children worked and danced together.

13 people joined the commemorable first lesson. This lesson is focused on exercises and stretching muscles around pelvis, but now can change at participants’ requests.

Masayo Kuramochi (from Japan)’s gonna come to the Gold Coast!!
She has over 15 years fitness instructor experience, teaching ZUMBA, aerobics. pilates and yoga in Japan. She is a personal trainer as well.

Yesterday oneย ZUMBAยฎ instructor came from Melbourne to the Gold Coast in the morning (15 Oct 2016).

I came to know Yuki through Facebook. It’s a small world. One of my assistant members used to join Yuki’s lessons in Melbourne when she had lived in Melbourne and moved to the Gold Coast.
Through the assistant member, Yuki and I connected last year, but we met yesterday for the first time directly.
I’ve never seen aย ZUMBAยฎ instructor like Yuki who is eager in pursuing ZUMBAยฎ and has desire to improve herself before, which made me go back to basics.
Yuki joined Natsuko’s Freestyle Dance Lesson too.
After the lessons, we had a petite lunch party with beer and spent meaningful timeโช
We performed at Gold Coast Multicultural Festival held in Broadwater Parkland (Southport) on Sunday 7 August 2016.
The weather was perfect, not hot, not cold and we enjoyed the event.
Our performances were successful.
They included funk, hip hop, jazz hip hop styled dances and singing.

She’s just moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast last weekend.
She has 10 year jazz dance experience and used to teach jazz hip hop lessons for 5 years.
She is going to start her lesson, Jazz Hip Hop, from this Saturday 18 June.
