Don’t give up exercising, mums!

I remember the time when I could get back into my job (an aerobics instructor) after my childbirth.

My son was 2 months old then.

I really appreciate my mother and the nursery school in Japan.

I think it is a bit hard for mothers whose mothers don’t live close but have babies and little children to exercise outside.

Mums, please please don’t give up exercising!

We have childminding separated from the lesson room.

2016 Gold Coast Multicultural Festival

We performed at Gold Coast Multicultural Festival held in Broadwater Parkland (Southport) on Sunday 7 August 2016.

The weather was perfect, not hot, not cold and we enjoyed the event.

Our performances were successful.

They included funk, hip hop, jazz hip hop styled dances and singing.

We are sorry, but Thursday ZUMBA lessons at Younique Dance Academy have finished due to unforeseen problems.

Instead, we are going to start a new ZUMBA lesson on Wednesdays @ Helensvale Community Centre, North Hall from August.

Every Wednesday 10:30-11:15 am

You can use 10 pass tickets and childminding on Wednesday too.

Wanted: SWAN FITNESS Performance Members for the last half of 2016 and the first half of 2017

ZUMBA, ,

SWAN FITNESS is looking for  performance members who can perform at some events together.

Now we are training for Gold Coast Multicultural Festival coming on Sunday the 7th of August 2016 at the Southport Broadwater Parklands.

 

We usually practice in the 2 dance classes,  Funk and Hip Hop every Monday.

But we are sorry, but Natsuko’s Funk and Maaya’s Hip Hop lessons will finish at the end of this month. The last lesson is the 25th of July 2016.

Instead, a new dance lesson will start from the 13th of August 2016.

This class is composed of various street dances and provided in the instructor’s own style.

We are also looking for performers who can join Yume-Yui’17 coming on the 12th of March 2017 at Robina Community Centre, Auditrium (1:00-4:00 pm), which is a charity concert for the recovery of the Great East Japan Earthquake 2011 and Kumamoto Earthquake 2016.

She’s just moved from Melbourne to the Gold Coast last weekend.

She has 10 year jazz dance experience and used to teach jazz hip hop lessons for 5 years.

She is going to start her lesson, Jazz Hip Hop, from this Saturday 18 June.
