The lesson venue change for ZUMBA®2016

As a result of consideration, we will move from Helensvale Library and Culture Centre Rehearsal Room 1 to Helensvale Community Centre North Hall which is on the same road and less than 5 minutes on foot from the Library and Culture Centre from the 4th of January 2016.

Thankfully the number of participants has increased these days, so we think it’s better to move to a bigger space.

Therefore, our ZUMBA® lessons will start at a new place from the 4th of January 2016.

The day and time won’t change.

ZUMBA® Monday 10:00-10:45 am 

@ Helensvale Community Centre, North Hall

On the last lesson day at Helensvale Library and Culture Centre, we will hold merry ZUMBA® Christmas.

After joining DFK 2015

I went to Coolangatta Beach to join DFK ( Dance for Kindness) 2015 which is a flash mob and was held around the world at the same time and day with my son and friends.

P1000826We were worried about the weather because the rain had begun before our performance.

But despite our worries, when we started performing, the rain stopped temporarily as if everyone cheered at the same time and started again strongly after we finished it.

Our flash mob was successful.

Yesterday we ran a ZUMBA® lesson for Halloween.

Everyone wore something to do with Halloween and enjoyed it.

Thanks for motivating us, all my spooky ZUMBA® mates!

We are so happy to share a great time with you guys.

Especially, everyone got into it with this track. ↓

A few of my friends who were watching it said that it was surprising that our group was so big.

21 members of SWAN FITNESS performed today.

Then I really appreciated all the members and my friends’ support.

I think I am happy.

I registered Life Vest Inside( LVI)’s 4th annual Dance for Kindness and joined their dance training at Tweed Heads NSW with my friend Toshiko (Singing Rin therapist)  and my son today.

I re-acknowledged that I really like sharing a fun time with people through dancing without languages.

In today’s Kid’s Hip Hop Beginners, a new friend joined our class.

Another friend joined and got into it for the second time.

We are so happy to see all the kids’ smile.

Today’s Kid’s Hip Hop Beginners class got a new friend.

Firstly she looked shy, but she danced smiling in the second half of the class 🙂

In today’s Freestyle Dance Beginners lesson, we did a new choreography with a new track.

We danced 2 types of dances: Girls Hip Hop and Lock.

ZUMBA® for Halloween!!

It will be my 3rd time to hold a ZUMBA® lesson for Halloween since I started ZUMBA® lessons on the Gold Coast.

I really appreciate everything surrounding me whenever I am going to go through some season events like Halloween and Christmas etc.

They remind me of what I was doing and how I felt then.

Then I hope to hold those events next year too.

It is thanks to everyone that I was able to come this far.

Thinking about those sort of things, I will run a ZUMBA® lesson for Halloween on Saturday the 31st of Oct with 2 other instructors, Teiko and Natsuko.

Our first challenge @ Helensvale

P1100161Yesterday was our first ZUMBA® lesson day at Helensvale Library and Culture Centre.

We are mainly running our lessons at Southport Community Centre, so starting at Helensvale  is our big challenge recently.

Despite our worries, many people came.

Actually it is a new stage for my assistants for Kid’s Hip Hop lessons, Teiko and Natsuko as well.

This was their first time to instruct some tracks not only one.

I’m learning lots of things from them.
